Composed of the widely admired violinist Laura Frautschi, cellist Kristina Reiko Cooper and pianist John Novacek, the Intersection Trio is known for seamlessly dovetailing a wide variety of repertoire including Classical, Jazz, Latin, Broadway/film music and new commissions in its concert programs. The Seattle Times has called its performances “superb—with an emotional spectrum from the wildly irrepressible to the thoughtful and nostalgic.”
An annual event that serves as a prelude to the summer concert season, the Bellingham Festival of Music’s winter/spring recitals feature performances by some of the outstanding soloists and ensembles on the concert scene. This year, in honor of the Festival’s 25th Silver Anniversary season, tickets for the concert are specially priced at $25 for adults, $10 for students.

“This is remarkable! Really a lot of fun and revelatory! Just by playing with the paint and brush strokes, it released a lot of stuff I didn’t even know was in me. It’s nothing I conceived painting to be like. Very calming and relaxing, too. This just might be my new wellness practice! So fabulous!” – Karen P.
