We will be traveling in authentic Pullman passenger cars from Wickersham Station through the tunnel and on to Mirror Lake. After arriving at Mirror Lake, we will begin the return journey back to Wickersham Station. All ages are welcome to relive memories and create new ones on this nostalgic ride through history. You will be riding on train cars that have been in use for more than 100 years! Throughout your visit, you will see many pieces of railroad history, including our antique steam engine, number 1070. Lake Whatcom Railway is dedicated to the preservation of railway history, and funds collected go towards the restoration and preservation of this American legacy. The Lake Whatcom Railway Mother’s Day excursion departs from Wickersham Station. Three departures are available; 10 am, 12 pm and 2 pm. Plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to departure so that you may explore the century of railway history on site, and receive your ticket prior to boarding. While you explore the site, you will also have the opportunity to ride our antique hand car that was built in the late 1800’s. Snacks and water will be available for purchase onboard the train.

****Please note – This ride travels a shorter distance than in previous years, and the ticket prices have been reduced to reflect that. Once we depart from Wickersham Station, you will be on-board the train for the duration of the event. We will not be exiting the train until we return to the station.****
