Bellingham Arts Academy for Youth (BAAY) presents Twelfth Night. This Shakespearean romantic comedy follows twin siblings, Viola and Sebastian, on an adventure of mistaken identity. It’s a story full of shenanigans and fun for the whole family, performed by BAAY senior students ages 13-17! Evening performances will be held at the BAAY Theatre, and matinees will be held at Maritime Heritage Park. Grab a seat, pack a picnic, and enjoy the show! Ticket information at baay.org.

This is the stage adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize winning novel by Harper Lee. The story revolves around a small Alabama town lawyer Atticus Finch as he defends Tom Robinson, a black man falsely accused of rape that sends violent waves through the community in the 1930’s. Timeless and lingering, this hard-hitting work explores prejudice, compassion and the courage to do what is right.

David and Ken are improv comedians and spontaneous singer-songwriters that have toured across North America, Australia and The Caribbean. They’ve also performed at comedy festivals such as: Just For Laughs, BumberShoot, Adelaide/Australia Fringe, Edmonton’s Improvaganza, and the Chicago, Seattle, Miami, Vancouver and San Francisco Improv festivals. They’ve performed many times with Improv Legends Colin Mochrie and Ryan Stiles, from Whose Line is it Anyway fame are inspired by Reggie Watts, Flight of the Conchords, Adam Sandler, Tenacious D & Bo Burnham.

They’ve both played in many styles of bands including metal, funk, Brit pop and blues. Ken has played guitar on many solo artists albums and one of his bands once opened up for Nickelback!
