The all vocal country sensation Home Free is bringing Nashville country standards and country-dipped pop hits to town (and having a great time doing so). This workshop will cover the most common pest and disease issues in our area, and how to deal with them effectively. Bellingham Repertory Dance (BRD) invites young dancers, entering grades 6-8, for a three day workshop overflowing with opportunities to develop their technique and expand their artistic expression. The BRD Youth Workshop provides a dynamic and friendly environment for students to get to know and dance with students from other schools and studios and to learn from the professional dancers of BRD. Participants should have some previous dance training for this intermediate workshop. South Fork Zoom & Eat: Growing Your Own, and Local Resources: Thursday, March 11, 7:00pm. Due to the uncertainty of handling and sharing food during the pandemic, this “Project Neighborly” presentation sponsored by the Whatcom Community Foundation and South Fork Valley Community Association will take place online as a Zoom gathering (to be recorded for subsequent on-line access). Although we may not be able to enjoy each other’s local dishes, we will still be able to learn from experienced speakers, discover a bit about growing, harvesting, preserving, and distributing food in the South Fork and Foothills.
