Plenty of ‘smash hits’ will be heard
at Fall Demo Derby on Sept. 22
Coming off a series of “smash hits” recorded at a sold-out performance during fair week, local drivers return for an encore at the Fall Demo Derby on Saturday, Sept. 22 at the Northwest Washington Fair & Event Center in Lynden.
“The Fall Demo Derby gives fans who weren’t able to attend either of the shows during the fair a second chance,” said Jim Baron, general manager of the Northwest Washington Fair & Event Center. “It’s a fun date night and also great for families because children 10 and younger are admitted free!”
Food trucks and a beer garden open at 5:00 p.m. The grandstand opens with festival seating at 5:30 p.m. and the Fall Demo Derby, presented by MyTrafficMan.net and Northwest Propane, starts at 6:30 p.m.
Fans can purchase tickets in advance for $12 apiece through the fair’s website, www.nwwafair.com, and at the fair’s Lynden office, 1775 Front St. Tickets also will be available at the gate Sept. 22 for $15 apiece. Free parking will be offered in Lot 5 off Kok Road and Lot 3 off Front Street.
