About the Artist:
Gary Stivers is a freelance drummer based out of the Pacific Northwest. Gary has been playing drumset and percussion for 12 years. Some of the groups Gary has been associated with is Banda509, Robert Artz, Snacks at Midnight, Ron Thomas, as well as various PNW jazz groups. Along with performing and recording, Gary teaches private drumset and percussion lessons. Some drummers that have influenced Gary musically range from Elvin Jones, Roy Hanes, and George Fludas to Devon Taylor, Aaron Sterling, and Rich Redmond. Gary graduated from Eastern Washington University with his BM in jazz percussion performance in Spring of 2021, and is currently working on his Graduate degree in music performance from Western Washington University.
