September classes feature a 5-week progressive series on playful Ocho Cortados, a dance figure for all levels, including beginners. $75 for 5 classes ($15/class) includes all 5 practicas. Mastery of this gold-standard tango figure opens a myriad of options (embellishments, turns, entradas, barridas, etc.) which we will explore according to the group’s dedication to practice each weekly layer of material.

Larry Kalb and Rebecca Niemier are thrilled to be collaborating with our Bellingham tango community to host a new weekly tango practica, at the beloved Majestic Ballroom, 7:30-9:30, every Wednesday. Larry and other DJ’s will play an 80/20 mix of traditional and alternative music. Entrada is $10, cash, check, PayPal.

Rebecca and Larry will teach prior to Practica, 6:30-7:30 pm, offering monthly topics for various levels of dancers. Class fee is $15 and includes 2-hr Practica.

Arrangements can be made if you must miss a class, though we hope for full attendance all five weeks so we may all advance together. Sign up at the door for Sept series by 9/1, or here: rebzebb@msn.com.
