Whatcom Council Of Governments Launches Countywide Transportation Survey

Submitted by Whatcom Council of Governments

Whatcom Council of Governments (WCOG) has launched the 2021 Whatcom Transportation Survey open to all residents of Whatcom County. Survey data will be used to update the Whatcom region’s long-range, 20-year transportation plan. The plan was last updated in 2017.

“A lot has changed since the last plan update in 2017. Societal context, environmental conditions, a global pandemic, financial and economic uncertainties, and continuous technological evolution have all contributed to the priorities and concerns we have today compared to five years ago,” said Hugh Conroy, director of planning, WCOG. “This survey is our community’s opportunity to contribute to the plan.”

This fun, interactive survey is designed to take about 10 minutes and can easily be accessed from a desktop computer or smartphone. Questions are asked about quality of life, transportation goals, and household trips.

The deadline to participate is May 30, 2021.
