Altitudes and attitudes have shaped the South American country of Colombia, as have the two-ocean coasts and European exploration-colonization of Indigenous people and other life forms. Rags to Riches abound to this day! We will take a closer look at the diverse natural and cultural history overall. Specifically, we will explore the central, western, and northern regions of eco-tourism places, as well as “off the beaten path” unique sites inside and out of national parks, reserves and private lands.

If you like learning about new places to visit, join us for this fun trip of a lifetime!

Registration ends November 1, 2021

Instructor: David Drummond

David Drummond, Naturalist-Educator-Traveler, has been multi-month traveling in South American countries since 1994 with binoculars, poetry notebook and camera at the ready. Seeking connection with the “Denizens of the Disappearing”, he enjoys sharing these bio-synergistic insights with You~ David spent seven months in Colombia, six and a half months in “pandemic lockdown” in a small Andean village.
