In collaboration with the Western Gallery, the VU Gallery presents a new exhibit of exciting and innovative inventions spanning the 20th century that frame our modern understanding of a chair. The show offers work by artists such as Maya Lin, Frank Gehry, Charles and Ray Eames, and more!

Please join us for the opening reception on Wednesday, February 1st at 5pm for the opening reception with talk from Western Gallery Director Hafthor Yngvason. Light refreshments will be provided.

You Should Sit Down for This is in the VU Gallery from January 30th through February 16th, open Monday-Friday 11am-5pm. It is free to the public.
