Resilience Summit: Hope in a Complex World, conversations to create a world in which we thrive
Who?
Youth & Young Adults: Talk with peers about how to change our social environment and reduce stress anxiety and depression for us. Hear stories of battles with mental well-being and talk about changing perspective. Finally, get to share with adults and help them make changes to their daily behavior towards forming more welcoming environments at home, school and in the community.
Adults, Parents and Youth Serving Professionals: Engage with Dr. Christopher McCurry, community wellness and prevention representatives, and with one another in conversations to shape how we can increase wellbeing and decrease stress, anxiety and depression for our youth, families and communities.
Distinct tracks for youth and young adults and parents and adults who serve youth in community settings will envision environments that promote wellness and compassion and identify skills and next steps for bringing hope to action. Youth and young adults will share their vision for a world in which they will thrive.
