Realities of Advanced Medical Interventions

The Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center (WDRC) is hosting a free, two-hour, interactive presentation on the Realities of Advanced Medical Interventions. This presentation is designed to increase participants’ awareness of Advanced Medical Interventions and features a discussion of actual outcomes for patients, for both the long and short term. Presented by Maureen “Koala” – RN and Cathy –BSN RN, who work in an Intensive Care Unit. They will present in layperson’s terms the realities of what these often heroic Advanced Medical Interventions mean to the average person and their families. Participants will learn about: CPR, Mechanical ventilation, Dialysis, and Medicines to support blood pressure.
