Pens & Needles

Traditionally, modern tattooing has been a male-dominated industry. Increasingly, other genders are carving out their own space in the tattoo world. From stick-and-pokes in private living rooms to colorful machine work in professional shops, “Pens & Needles” highlights the works of Northwest artists practicing the art of tattoo in a variety of forms and styles. Featured artists include Christina Miglino (Bellingham), Nora Hughes (Bellingham), Zev Papageorge (Bellingham), Kat Varela (Bellingham), Heidi Keith (Portland), and Zox Svetorovich (Vancouver, BC). For Art Walk night only, artist and professional party maker, Aireekah Laudert, will be in the gallery offering her custom temporary and glitter tattoos. Come down, and get yours!
