Summit Place Assisted Living, Bellingham’s premiere assisted living facility, will host “Medicare 101,” a complimentary community seminar focusing on introductory Medicare knowledge for individuals entering or already of retirement age. Presented in conjunction with local Medicare insurance specialists, Vibrant USA, the seminar is free to the public and scheduled for Thursday, September 19, 2019 from 6-7pm at Summit Place Assisted Living. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.
Attendees can expect to receive general information and helpful knowledge surrounding the Medicare system and process. Topics to be covered include, but are not limited to:
• Basics if you’re new to Medicare
• How to choose an appropriate plan
• What is Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part D, a Medicare Supplement
• How to compare plans and select one that’s right for the individual
