Join Seattle-based outdoor photographer Scott Kranz for an online slideshow and discussion of tools and techniques for learning how to shoot in manual mode when photographing natural landscapes.
Learn the ins and outs of the “exposure triad” settings: shutter speed, aperture, and ISO, and explore how (and when) to take over creative control by using your camera’s various modes, including shutter priority, aperture priority, and full manual.
This course is welcome to all, but will be best suited for beginner and intermediate photographers who have yet to fully master manual shooting with their DSLR or mirrorless cameras.
Scott Kranz (@scott_kranz) is a professional photographer, filmmaker, educator, and speaker who has used his creative vision and natural talents to become an industry leader, partnering with the world’s top outdoor and tech brands while shooting on all seven continents.
