Fancy Pants Runway Challenge

Ragfinery is proud to present: The Fancy Pants Runway Challenge. In the spirit of fun creative reuse, we’re bringing back the runway show that was such a hit last year. We’re going upscale on this one, folks, with a classy venue, cocktails, and refreshments…the whole nine yards! When we say “fancy pants,” we mean it!

This year, the items we have for artists to upcycle: Tuxedo pants and Cocktail Dresses.
Twenty-five participants have two months to transform one of each of these garments along with other items of their choosing into a wearable item that they’ll model on the runway on Friday, May 20. Categories include “Fanciest,” “Creative Transformation,” and “Presentation.” Participants will be competing for cash, gift prizes, and as usual, widespread fame.

The Fancy Pants Runway Challenge will be held at the Leopold Crystal Ballroom…a truly “fancy” experience. Beer, wine, and refreshments will be served and DJ Alternative Fields will provide the audio backdrop for the event. If it is anything like last year, this will be the most fun you’ve had all year!
