Chuckanut Bay BBQ Sail

Join the Zodiac during the 4th of July holiday weekend on a three and a half hour afternoon BBQ sail. Depart the Bellingham Cruise Terminal at 2pm and assist the crew in raising the largest mainsail on the west coast of the United States. The Zodiac will carry you south on Bellingham Bay. While the ship maneuvers through the beautiful and storied waters, passengers can enjoy views of Lummi, Portage and Eliza Islands. While under sail the ship’s cannon will fire a salute to signify America’s 239th birthday.

The Zodiac will drop sail and glide to anchor in Chuckanut Bay. While at anchor the ship’s professional chef will prepare a traditional BBQ of hamburgers and hotdogs, potato salad, baked beans, fresh fruit and all the fixings. Local beer, wine, craft cocktails and soft drinks are available from the ship’s bar throughout the sail.
