Belly Dance with Whimsy

Explore belly dancing through a cabaret lens! Learn about the cultural roots of belly dance and cabaret. Undulate and roll your body to fun music. You’ll leave the class with a video of your performance. This cabaret-style belly dance workshop is led by long-time performer Layla Jasper, stage name Whimsy, who is passionate about inspiring the confidence to embrace more whimsy through dance! No dance experience needed and open to all genders. Wear clothing that you feel comfortable moving in. Sign up for one or both sessions, each will feature different choreography.
