This is the first of a series of talks that will highlight the research of badass female scientists who work in and study Antarctic science. This first talk will be an introduction to Antarctic change in the context of global change and will be presented by Physical Oceanographer, Dr. Rachael Mueller, who researches the ocean’s influence on the melting of the Antarctic ice sheet. Dr. Mueller organizes the local Meetup group “B’HAMster’s Earth Science HUB.”
