Kick up your heels and be prepared to have a grand time at the annual Bluegrass Ice Cream Social, a free family event at Animals as Natural Therapy.
Partake in some good ol’ fashioned family fun with live bluegrass music by Quick Draw String Band dancing, games for all ages, up close and personal encounters with farm animals and delicious Mallards Ice Cream.
Parking is available at Bank of the Pacific, 4124 Hannegan Road. Free shuttle service will be available to and from the farm. There will be limited parking onsite for families with car seats and visitors with disabilities.
Animals as Natural Therapy (ANT) is a 501(3)(c) non-profit that has touched thousands of youth and veterans lives in Whatcom county for nineteen years. Donations support eighty-eight of ANT participants who need financial assistance or full scholarships to attend. Programs help develop important life skills such as mutual respect, trust, clear communication and leadership. The ultimate goal for individuals is to heal and become positive, powerful forces within our community schools, families and workplace. Animals as Natural Therapy helps build a stronger community, one person at a time.
