The Bellingham Bay Rotary Club’s popular fundraiser Grape and Gourmet is back this year on Saturday October 19th, hosted for the first time at the Hotel Bellwether. This year’s event is titled Wines by the Water providing a tribute to stunning island views and sunsets over Bellingham Bay that make the Hotel Bellwether famous among locals and visitors.
Guests will have exclusive access to meet representatives from over one dozen international and local cellars offering tastings and wine for purchase through Hotel Bellwether at a discounted rate for participants. The Lighthouse Grill’s culinary team will create gourmet appetizers for the experience.
Proceeds from previous events have benefited the Hospice House, Bellingham Food Bank, Northwest Youth Services, Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services (DVSAS), Lydia Place, and Blue Skies for Children, among others.
This event sells out early every year. Buy your tickets now and enjoy a beautiful autumn evening sipping wine while catching a striking sunset over the Islands in the Hotel Bellwether Ballroom.

Bellingham Bay Rotary Club
85 members strong, we meet each week for fun, fellowship, and planning our service work. Most years we support a “major project” contributing between $50K and $100K to local organizations both large and small and volunteer out in the community. Internationally, we have completed several successful projects in Honduras to provide better access to clean water and improve sanitation. And we contribute to our parent organization, Rotary International, to support its efforts to finally eradicate polio worldwide.
Our weekly lunch meetings are open to everyone and feature interesting speakers. Please join us from noon until 1:30pm any Tuesday.
