During this busy flu season, officials at PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center ask that hospital visitors heed the following guidelines:
- Please do not visit the hospital if you have any of the following symptoms: cold, cough, fever, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea.
- If you are ill but have an urgent need to visit, please wash your hands, put on a mask and contact the appropriate nursing department before entering a unit.
- Wash your hands. Perform hand hygiene frequently while visiting the hospital—even in common areas.
- Get your flu shot. Protect yourself and your loved ones by getting vaccinated.
- If you feel ill, see a healthcare provider for guidance. There are several urgent care and walk-in clinics, including the PeaceHealth Same Day Care Clinic, available for quick and convenient care.
PeaceHealth St. Joseph administrators and Infection Prevention leaders thank our community for helping ensure a safe and healing environment for all those who enter the doors of our local hospital.
