As part of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, your Whatcom County instructors are hosting a Zumbathon® in honor of Lucy Duersch. Lucy is a six-year old in our community who got diagnosed with DIPG, a form of brain cancer that mainly affects children and has no funding, no treatment, no cure.
All funds will be donated to the Avery Huffman Defeat DIPG Foundation, by request from Lucy’s family.
Tickets are $10. Additional donations are welcome and checks need to be made to the Avery Huffman Defeat DIPG Donation.
