Elsi Vassdal Ellis uses a variety of techniques and materials to produce unique books. From her lengthy experience as a faculty member of the Design Department at WWU, and work in her studio, she is immensely qualified to introduce the Advocates to the opening exhibition, “Unhinged: Book Art on the Cutting Edge”. Dr. Vassdal Ellis will also talk about her artwork, Icarus, which is featured in the exhibition.
