Our beneficiaries this year are:
Skookum Kids is a Bellingham-based organization intent on supporting Whatcom County’s foster care system. By offering training for new foster parents and childcare at critical junctures, this organization seeks to ease painful transitions for local foster kids and parents, and buy critical time for caseworkers to find the right long-term placement.
Family Promise is a national movement newly adopted by a local Interfaith Coalition. Their mission is to offer help in the form of temporary housing to homeless families by organizing the use of under-utilized church facilities during the week.
Women Sharing Hope is a volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to the betterment of Whatcom County, Washington.
Women Sharing Hope events are managed and operated by members, effectively keeping expenses down, so that a significant percent of event proceeds are donated.
