Tillie Lace presents an intimate night with three women in music – The Katie Gray, Monica Parshotam of Momo Grace, and Morgan Paris Lanza.
The Katie Gray has always been unapologetically true to herself. Katie Gray began creating music at a young age, releasing her first demo, “Just a Little Strange,” in her senior year of high school. In recent years, Katie Gray has been creating music in the beautiful city of Bellingham, WA where her solo work has only continued to grow and flourish as she recently graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in Music. Katie Gray is producer and radio personality with the Cascade Radio Group. You can hear her on KAFE 104.1 on weekdays from 10am-3pm and on “Your Afternoon Show,” weekdays 3-6pm on KGMI News Talk 790 AM.
Momo Grace is a band of five musicians based in Bellingham, WA, who each bring to the stage a variety of genres, styles, and musical personalities, together creating a sound that is simultaneously silly and soulful. Monica Parshotam is a singer/songwriter and the front-woman for Momo Grace. Monica started making music at 8 years old, composing songs in many styles on the piano. She currently is experimenting with Jazz, Soul, and Funk vocal stylings. Monica accompanies herself on piano and ukulele, and is also a skilled audio engineer.
Morgan Paris Lanza is the lead singer for JudyJustJudy, and the Executive Director of Bellingham Girls Rock Camp. Her music with JudyJustJudy has been described by fans as Sultry, Jazzy, Complex and Sophisticated. Morgan is a versatile vocalist, most at home singing popular songs and Jazz standards. Morgan also raps and accompanies herself on the piano.
