Stones Throw Brewery Block Parties are back! All ages are invited down to the brewery for the free live music on Saturday, May 28th, of Ski to Sea weekend.
As Fairhaven celebrates the weekend of Bellingham’s annual relay race from Mount Baker to Bellingham Bay, Stones Throw will close the street in front of the brewery for an extended beer garden from 12-9pm. Block Parties have become a staple for the Stones Throw community, and everyone is invited to come down the Saturday before the race to enjoy live music, food trucks, games, and beer.
The family-friendly afternoon will open at noon, with a portion of proceeds from the entire day being donated to Vamos Outdoors Project. Live music will kick off the event starting at 2pm with Andy Koch and his Badd Dog Blues Society playing until 5pm. Then Baby Cakes will then take the stage for the rest of the evening, headlining the Block Party from 6 – 9pm.
Back East BBQ, Sage Against the Machine, and Street Dogz will be serving food all day at the Block Party, and Bellingham Cider will be on tap. Ten different Stones Throw brews will be on tap, featuring flagships such as the Neighborhood IPA, Raincountry Liquid Sunshine Lager, and Happy Valley Hazy will be on tap, as well as a collaboration IPA release brewed specially with Fairhaven neighbors Paws for a Beer.
Be ready to go again on Sunday, May 29, as Stones Throw will close half of the street in front of the brewery for an extended beer garden as the Ski to Sea party in Fairhaven continues. Be sure to swing by Stones Throw both before and after walking down to watch racers finish at Marine Park, as the brewery will have Bry’s Filipino Cuisine, Sage Against the Machine, and Street Dogz all on hand from 12-9pm to enjoy with your beer.
With a full Block Party on Saturday and another extended beer garden on Sunday, the taps will be flowing and Memorial Day weekend at Stones Throw Brewery will be another one to remember!
