SPRINGFEST is the first major art show and market in 2017. The event features beautiful and functional art by over 20 local artists and artisans. SPRINGFEST 2017 will take place Saturday and Sunday, May 20, from 9 to 5, and May 21 from 10 to 4, at The Blaine Pavilion 8th & H Street, Blaine, WA. SPRINGFEST is an opportunity to see and purchase fine art and artisan goods designed by some of the most talented creators in the Northwest. There is no charge to attend this community event.
BlaineHarborArtGallery will curate this event. The online art gallery was created by a handful of local artists five years ago. with the goal of promoting art, artists and Blaine as a center for artistic excellence in Whatcom County. Chairperson for the event, Debbie Haggman, says, “The quality and variety of talent at this show is excellent, with many new artists as well as some favorites from previous shows. We’ll have live music and there is a pancake breakfast next door at the Senior Center Saturday morning.”
