Spring Scavenger Hunt

Looking for a spring break family event? Head to Fairhaven for the Spring Scavenger Hunt! The first stop is Fairhaven Toy Garden to pick up a clue sheet. Walk the historic district while solving clues and collecting stamps and some goodies from participating businesses. Once all the stamps are collected, return to the Toy Garden to get a prize and enter a raffle for a basket of goodies donated by participating merchants.

This year the Spring Scavenger Hunt will be held for three days due to the success of past scavenger hunts. “Last year we had about 500 people participating”, said Robin Bigelow, co-owner of Fairhaven Toy Garden. Bigelow, who founded the Scavenger Hunt four years ago, says it has been getting bigger every year. “I have decided to extend it to three days this year to allow more people to have an opportunity to join the hunt.  Parents seem to enjoy it as much as the kids! “
