This year’s beer dinner is collaborates with The Local/Menace Brewery and includes beer from Menace and collaborative cooking with both Chuckanut’s chef Joel and The Local’s chef Branden. Don’t miss the chance to sit down inside the brewery and learn from brewmaster Will Kemper, as he describes the beers featured in the dinner and Menace brewer Ben describing his beers. Each beer is masterfully paired with gourmet courses entirely sourced with local products. All tickets are non-refundable, but transferable and are on sale until April 23.
The Beer Dinner features six beers to be enjoyed with five courses plus more. Chuckanut Marzen opens the meal paired with Halibut Fumet over red bell pepper Bellingham pasta and Bellingham’s Caleb Brown smoked salmon. Menace Brewery’s ESB follows paired with Efishent’s Arugula tossed in pickled berry mustard dressing in leek ring topped with micro eats arugula and whole pickled blueberries. Chuckanut Pilsner paired with homemade hand ground draper valley chicken and mushroom sausage with KO Koral duck egg and hot mustard sauce will be featured in the third course. The fourth course will include Menace Red Ale and Flanken Style 3 Sisters’ Ribs (marinated 24 hours) grilled with a delicate puree of Rabbit Farm’s sunchokes, roasted Cascadia mushrooms and Terra Verde farm fresh vegetable paired. For dessert Boxx Berry Farm blueberry brulee will be paired with both Chuckanut Baltic Porter and Menace Irish Stout.
