In conjunction with Whatcom READS!, Paul Goff shares his own fascinating caregiving experiences doctoring in Sierra Leone in the early 70’s. In addition to providing care in his Freetown office, he traveled around the country providing immunizations and disease prevention strategies to volunteers. He got to know the local doctors and a spectrum of tropical illnesses in this country racked by poverty, malnutrition, and corruption.
