This class will teach you to make sturdy baskets from almost any kind of scrap fabric! Thick strips of fabric are twisted and bound together with yarn, strong cotton string, or thin strips of more fabric. Many possibilities await!
Participant and Material Requirements
Students can bring their own fabric or purchase fabric from Ragfinery. The amount of fabric needed will depend on the size of the basket you want to make and the weight of your fabric but should work out to approximately two yards fabric or equivalent. A darning needle will be provided.
