Love Washington’s beaches? Love your mom? Come and help keep trash out of the ocean and keep our shorelines clean! (Bringing a mom is optional, but we think they’d have a good time).
To combat plastic pollution in the Salish Sea, we host beach cleanups — as well as cleanups along rivers and lakes — throughout Whatcom and Skagit counties, providing cleanup equipment and a place to connect with like-minded community members. Join us on Mother’s Day, Sunday May 8th from 3-5 p.m. at Larrabee State Park (meet at the amphitheater. You will need to travel with a Discovery Pass!). Bagels will be provided by The Bagelry. We provide cleanup supplies, just dress for the weather.
