LIVE AT THE PIANO LOUNGEThursday nights, the J invites you to enjoy free live music in the piano lounge from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The Firehall Cafe at the J offers their full menu of food and beverages until 9:00 p.m. Curated by local musician Victor Pruner, the Live Music in the Piano Lounge series is designed to bring a variety of local musicians to engage the community.
Soul Shadows is a local band comprised of Skip Williams on keyboards and vocals and Robert “Goldtooth” Ray on Bass. The band was formed in 2013 and has been playing regularly at several venues in Bellingham and Whatcom County.
The band plays a combination of 50s rock & roll /Doo Wop, as well as R&B, and Motown from the 60s, 70s and 80s with a little Soul Jazz thrown in for good measure.
