Thursday nights, the J invites you to enjoy free live music in the piano lounge. The Firehall Cafe at the J offers their full menu of food and beverages until 9:00 p.m. Curated by local musician Victor Pruner, the Live Music in the Piano Lounge series is designed to bring a variety of local musicians to engage the community.
As an artist, singer-songwriter Sher Vadinska brings to the stage over three decades of songwriting, performing and recording. Whether steeped in story or poem or set to a groove, her songs are lyrically potent and her voice, smoky and thick, blending folk-rock, blues, Americana and pop-country.
As a performer, Sher is on fire. Whether singing her own songs or covering other artists, from Joni Mitchell to Joan Armatrading, Melissa Etheridge to Sheryl Crow, Sher Vadinska lights up the room with heart and soul.
