Family Friendly Low-Tide Exploration Field Trip

Join naturalists from local nonprofit Wild Whatcom to get curious about intertidal creatures! We will be exploring Marine Park in Fairhaven during a strong low tide, which can reveal sea stars,crabs, nudibranchs, sand dollars, and more! We will provide magnifying glasses, buckets to create mini-habitats. Marine Park can be windy, even on warm days, so layers like sweaters or windbreakers are helpful to have on hand, in addition to sunscreen, water, and hats.
