Call to Artists: 2020 Fall Virtual Juried Exhibit

The Jansen Art Center is accepting submissions for the 2020 Fall Virtual Juried Exhibit for friends and family to see from all over. If the guidelines allow us to open during the duration of this exhibit, we will transfer over to a live exhibit in our building. Artists are invited to submit up to five works for consideration for the exhibit. The Jansen Art Center accepts visual arts including ceramics, painting and drawing, textiles, jewelry, basketry, glass, photography, sculpture, and book arts.

The deadline for submissions is 11:59 PM on Monday, August 24.

Juried Exhibits are open to the public as a way to showcase the artistic talent in Whatcom County and the surrounding region. Each season, artists are invited to submit up to five pieces to be judged by a qualified jury made up of artists, curators, and other figures in the arts community. The selected pieces are displayed in the Jansen Art Center for the community to enjoy.

There is a $25 submission fee. Artists who maintain an Artist Level Membership (or higher) receive $10 off their submission fee.
