Building Skills: Caring for Someone with Dementia

Carli Barrios is a Speech Language Pathologist with many years of experience working with people living with dementia. She is a certified trainer for Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care.
This class will utilize Positive Approach to Care curriculum to facilitate use of supportive communication skills, use of strategies to positively engage people living with dementia in routine and enjoyable tasks, and increased effectiveness of all interactions.
