In 2020, the world celebrates the 250th anniversary of the birth of Ludwig van Beethoven, the creative genius whose music continues to inspire and enrich the lives of people all over the globe.
Bellingham Music Club’s guests, cellist Colin Carr and pianist Thomas Sauer, take us on a journey of joyful virtuosity. Their all-Beethoven program features three sonatas for cello and piano, plus variations on themes by Haydn and Mozart, including Papageno’s buoyant aria from The Magic Flute.
BMC Night Beat is on Saturday, February 15, 7:30pm at First Congregational Church, 2401 Cornwall Ave., in Bellingham. Refreshments follow the concert. $25 tickets are available at Village Books, online on bellinghammusicclub.org, and at the door. Take a teen for free.
