‘Tis the season for giving. This year, collect food for families in need and we’ll come pick it up for free this Friday. Giving back has never been so easy. Collect your canned and nonperishable food, request the “Donate” option in your Uber app on Friday, December 4 from 10:00 a.m. — 4:00 p.m., and one of our amazing driver-partners will come pick up your donation. In operation for 40 years, the Bellingham Food Bank is one of the busiest food banks in Western Washington—visited by more than 1,200 Bellingham families every week.
HOW TO DONATE:
1. Purchase your nonperishable food items for donation
2. Open your Uber app between 10am-4p on Friday, December 9.
3. Tap the DONATE option at the bottom of the screen
4. An Uber driver-partner will arrive to pick up your donation and will drop it off at the Bellingham Food Bank truck, stationed at FredMeyer.
