Archaeology Fair

Whatcom Community College (WCC) anthropology faculty and the Association for Washington Archaeology invite the public to attend a free Archaeology Fair at the Syre Student Center Auditorium on the WCC campus.

Participants will learn about all aspects of archaeology, both academic and applied.  Students and professionals will host table displays about archaeological projects, informational posters about recent research, and hands-on activities for kids of all ages.  Organizers of a series of local events celebrating archaeology throughout the month of October will also be on hand to share their experiences; watch for these related announcements and participate throughout the month, as well!  If you are curious about archaeology, join a group of actual and aspiring archaeologists in a fun, inclusive environment to learn how they uncover the material evidence of our shared past.
