Enchanted Woodworking: Wand Carving Workshop with Northwest Natura & The Dry Troll

Join us for a day of whimsical woodworking in this half-day course co-led by Jazmen Yoder (Northwest Natura) and experienced carver, Mike B. (The Dry Troll).

What to Expect:
-Learn the lore of trees, and their magical properties and symbolism.
-Select a stick from an offering of various magical plants provided to participants:
-Select a species to work with – choose your wood
-Learn carving techniques, detail work, and knife safety
-Handcraft your own uniquely wand from start to finish
-Option to wrap with metal wire, add colorful dyes, decorative knot-work, and/or carve sigils to personalize and enchant the wand in the final portion of the course.
