Bellingham Arts Academy for Youth presents The Jungle Book! Banished by the ferocious tiger, Shere Khan, a human boy named Mowgli and his panther friend, Bagheera, are on the run in the deepest parts of the jungle. On their journey, the two meet a sinister snake named Kaa, a herd of elephants and a giant bear named Baloo, who teaches them the swingin’ musical rhythms of the jungle.

For the first time ever, BAAY will hold four consecutive weekends featuring four different casts of their junior production, which features students ages 9-12. You don’t want to miss out on all the fun! Performances run May 12-June 4 at the BAAY Theatre. Tickets and more information at baay.org.

About BAAY:

Founded in 2006, Bellingham Arts Academy for Youth (BAAY) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching children’s lives through the exploration of the arts. We believe that the arts are a basic and essential component of all children’s education. We serve approximately 1400 children ages 4-17 annually in our EduArts and Theatre programs, and provide over $20,000 a year in annual tuition waivers to remove financial barriers to participation. Learn how you can support the sustainability of this work at baay.org/support.
