Opened in 2002, our lovely tasting room has wood beams, fire hearth, and terracotta tile in warm welcoming colors. The patio, for warm weather picnicking and wine tasting, has a view of our fields and the Cascade Mountains.
We offer several viniferous varieties, using Washington State grapes; off-dry fruit wines, and dessert wines from local berries and hazelnuts.
We’re proud our fruit wines, from our traditional dessert varieties, to our true-to-the-fruit, off-dry berry wines, which have developed a reputation as award winners. This has been made possible because of the right soils, mild winters and cool summers. Our winery is located in the Nooksack River Valley, which grows 65 percent of the raspberries grown in North America.
Our Event Center opened in 2008, providing guests with a lovely covered venue in which to celebrate weddings and other special occasions. We are so excited to announce we’ll be holding two rock concerts this year.
The first features local band Still Kick’N on June 26th from noon to 4 p.m. The second features Baby Cakes on July 24th from noon to 4 p.m.
Tickets are $5/person and are available on our website: samsonestates.com.
Samson Estates Winery will also host two “Date and Paint” events, on June 18 and August 7th. Tickets can be purchased at dateandpaint.com.
And finally, please join us in our wine garden at this year’s Northwest Washington Fair from August 12 through August 21. Come enjoy the day—and cool off—with an ice cold wine slushie!
