At Semiahmoo Resort we love any excuse to celebrate local craft beer. That’s why we’re thrilled to host our second annual Beachside Beerfest & BBQ – a one day extravaganza complete with beer tasting galore.
Last year’s inaugural event was a huge success – complete with sunshine, great music, tasty food, and of course, plenty of delicious beer. Help us to keep the fun going on Saturday, June 1 from 1:00pm to 6:00pm at the resort. Tickets are $40, and include a 4 oz. tasting glass and ten tickets to try the craft beers of your choice. Live music, games on the lawn, and a beachside BBQ are all included with your ticket as well.
We’ll also host a little friendly competition that allows you to vote for your favorite brewery of the day, helping them win our second annual Beerfest Mug of Champions trophy. Last year’s winner was Icicle Brewing, we’ll see if they can hold their throne two years in a row.
Other featured breweries include Kulshan Brewing, Melvin Brewing, Iron Horse Brewing, Redhook Brewing, Lost Giants Cider Co, Scuttlebutt Brewing, Fringe Brewery and more!
100% of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Make.Shift Foundation in Bellingham. Make.Shift is a non-profit formed in 2008 located in the heart of Bellingham’s arts district with the mission of providing an all ages space for art and music.
