Pickford Film Center and Make.Shift Art Space are partnering once more for this year’s Bellingham Music and Film Festival. The two local nonprofits are now accepting submissions for the fourth annual BMFF – a three-day music and film showcase featuring both international and regional talent among filmmakers and musicians. The event will take place April 4 through 6 at both venues, providing both a space and platform for professional and student artists to submit and show their work. Winners for three of four categories will be awarded cash prizes.

To qualify, submissions must be focused or inspired by music and each applicant must agree to festival terms available for review here. If chosen, the individual or team’s music video or short will be screened during the festival and may win a cash prize if selected by festival judges. Winners for Best Short, Best Music Video, and Best Regional Music Video/Short will each receive a $100 cash prize and the People’s Choice winner announced via social media will receive a trophy. Participants must submit their music video or short via FilmFreeway here: https://filmfreeway.com/BellinghamMusicFilmFestival. The deadline for submissions is Feb. 1, 2019.
