Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County is holding its Youth of the Year Community Dinner at 5:00 p.m. on January 24 at the Ferndale Clubhouse. The dinner is open to all, free of charge. Drop-ins are welcome and RSVPs are encouraged to events@whatcomclubs.org.
At our annual Youth of the Year Celebration and Community Dinner we highlight the impact the Clubs have had in the community the past year and showcase some of the 6,000 kids whose lives have been transformed by Boys & Girls Clubs.
“Receiving the award was one of the most important experiences of my life because it single-handedly changed me for the better,” said Vang Le, a former Youth of the Year winner and current board member. “I can’t express my gratitude enough to the people at the Clubs that believed in me and helped me grow.”
