Washington Allegro Vivace Ensemble (WAVE) presents its second concert of the Season, Summer Fest #1 on June 24 and 25, 7:00pm, at the Firehouse Performing Arts Center in Bellingham, WA. This highly charged group presents inspiring, face-paced, and fresh interpretations of classical chamber music. Virtuoso performers are joined by Guest Artists, In Residence at The Firehouse, every month, May to November.
The June 24/25 program will feature the phenominal talent of pianist, Martin Kennedy in Schubert’s “Trout” Quintet. Also featured is the World Premiere of Patrick Neher’s hilariously ticklish mini-operetta for clarinet, violin, and piano, Trio “Mimi.” The program will include innovative and short pieces of Astor Piazzolla, the famous “Tango King.”
