Ugly Holiday Sweater Crawl

Do you think you have what it takes to win The Ugly Holiday Sweater Crawl? Do people often describe you as tasteless, absurd, and tacky? Ok, then, you’ve got a chance. But you’re up for some stiff competition!

Participants will be tasked with finding an ugly sweater from Ragfinery to decorate with a grab bag of random fabric and electronic embellishments from Ragfinery and The Foundry Makerspace in the allotted time. When the buzzer sounds, participants will head up the street to Aslan Brewing for a People’s Choice showdown where completed sweaters will be modeled by participants and voted on by Aslan patrons.

PRIZES: The People’s Choice Award winner will receive gift certificates to Ragfinery and The Foundry and an appropriately tasteless commemorative award. All participants will receive coupons for ½ off first month’s membership at The Foundry and discount coupons at Ragfinery.

RULES: Must be 18 or over to participate. No outside materials may be used in decorating your sweater. Maximum of 15 participants.

HOW TO SIGN UP: Stop in to Ragfinery, pick out an Ugly Sweater, pay the $25 fee, and get the ugly wheels turning! Ragfinery will hold all chosen sweaters until the event begins (December 9th) to assure no advance work is completed. There is a maximum of 15 participants so sign up soon!
