Terrell Creek Tree Planting with NSEA

Venture out to a long-term restoration site along Terrell Creek and plant native trees and shrubs with NSEA as we work to improve habitat for coho and chum salmon. Terrell Creek connects Lake Terrell to Birch Bay, flowing through agricultural lands, residences, and industrial zones. NSEA first began to restore habitat along this creek in the late 1990s, carrying out big fish passage barrier removal projects to improve salmon access to habitat. In addition to salmon, numerous shellfish, birds, and mammals rely on Terrell Creek.
